Welcome to our Website. If you are new to the Model Aircraft scene, have a browse, you  may find it interesting. If you are learning to fly models, we can probably help you. If you  are an accomplished flyer we would welcome you as a visitor to our excellent power field  or our superb slope sites.

Initially the calendar was created to help groups plan visits to the slopes to avoid clashes of interest, but I think it would be useful to include other club’s fairly local events. So, as I find out about them I will add them.

I’ve had one or two complaints about poor discipline on the  field. I think we are forgetting that our hobby has it’s dangers and getting a bit casual in our behaviour.

So, PLEASE, keep the patch clear unless taking-off, landing or retrieving. When flying your model, stand a few paces from the edge of the patch, in a spot roughly at 90 degrees to the flightline. Stand in a group so that communication is possible. Using the “pulpit” Paul made makes a good pilot’s box marker. Also, it’s helpful if first there puts the windsock up.
